Technical process introduction

Graphite is an excellent non-metallic mineral and is an important raw material in industrial production.Flake graphite is recovered mainly by flotation because of its natural floatability.

Technical process

The coarse concentrate is obtained by flotation after crushing and grinding. The size of graphite flake is one of the most important quality standards, special attention should be paid to the protection of large flake graphite in the processing of flake graphite, so the coarse concentrate is generally through multi-stage grinding, multi-stage separation, and the final concentration products with fixed carbon content of 90%~98%.

Jinyuan R&D center has carried out mineral processing experiments for various graphite ores in Tanzania. Under the condition of 10%~12% fixed carbon content of raw ores, 97.5% fixed carbon content ,94% recovery rate and 72% concentrate above +100mesh of graphite concentrates have been reached to obtaining excellent technical indexes.
