Product Working Principle
Belt conveyors consist of a conveyor belt, idlers, drums, and devices for driving, braking, tensioning, redirecting, loading, unloading, and cleaning. The machine frame is made of high-quality steel plates connected together, with a certain angle of inclination formed by the height difference between the front and rear legs. The frame is equipped with belt drums, idlers, etc., to drive and support the conveyor belt. The drum that rotates with the conveyor belt is called the driving drum, and the other drum that only changes the direction of the conveyor belt movement is called the redirecting drum. The conveyor belt is dragged by the friction between the driving drum and the belt. The driving drum is usually installed at the discharge end to increase the traction force, which is beneficial for dragging. Material is fed in at the feeding end, falls onto the rotating conveyor belt, and is moved by the friction of the conveyor belt, and is discharged at the discharge end.
